1What is CIOAIM?
CIOAIM gives you a personal board of AI coaches, expert courses and leadership tools — built for IT professionals and technology leaders. Your coaches help with strategy, execution and career development.
2Who is CIOAIM for?
It's built for CIOs and IT leaders, and for anyone growing a career in technology. It's trusted by professionals across 20+ countries.
3Can I use more than one coach?
Yes — assemble a personal board of AI coaches and switch or add coaches anytime at no extra charge. Your coaches coordinate with each other. The five are Igan (Technology), Jack (Strategy), Kevin (Leadership), Pat (Executive) and Aimee (AI) — most people begin with Leadership or Strategy.
4What languages is CIOAIM available in?
The CIOAIM app is available in English, German, French and Spanish, and follows your browser or account language setting.
5Is there a free trial, and do I need a credit card?
Yes — you can start a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. You begin on the Free plan with a monthly Credit allowance; you only add a card if and when you decide to upgrade, from Account → Subscription.
6How much does CIOAIM cost?
CIOAIM offers a free tier plus paid monthly and annual plans (and lifetime options). See the current plans and prices on the pricing section of cioaim.com.
7What are AIMS Credits?
AIMS Credits are the in-app currency you spend on AI features — coaching, prompts, assessments and more. Your plan includes a monthly Credit allowance, and you can top up any time with Credit packs from the Credits tab.
8How do I get more AIMS Credits?
Buy a Credit pack from the Credits tab — your balance updates instantly and a receipt is emailed to you. You can also use Refer & Earn to receive bonus Credits when a friend joins.
9How do I create a career plan?
Open Career Studio, pick a coach to lead the goal, and do the interview — share your situation, upload your CV and add your LinkedIn. Set a target role and a North Star, then let your coach build a milestone plan you can open in Planning Studio.
10What can I do in a chat with a coach?
Ask for advice, work through a decision, or draft something — by text or voice (toggle the mic). You can switch conversation modes, pull from the prompt library, and the coach draws on your goals and saved memory. Every chat is saved to your history.
11How do I build a plan for a business or life project?
Open Planning Studio, choose New plan, and tell the coach what you want to ship — they set up the stages and starter tasks. Use it for career, business or personal projects.
12How much does saving a prompt cost?
In Prompt Studio, saving a prompt private costs 5 Credits, saving it public is free, and forking someone else's public prompt into your own library costs 5 Credits.
13How do I choose which feeds appear in Message Studio?
Open Account → My Messages (“Choose your curated feeds”) and toggle feeds on or off. A disabled source disappears from your message grid until you re-enable it.
14How do I turn on two-factor authentication?
Go to Account → Security and add authenticator-app 2FA (a TOTP code from an app like Google Authenticator). Once it's active, every sign-in requires a fresh code.
15Can I control which emails I receive?
Yes — Account → Preferences lets you turn the newsletter on or off. Essential transactional emails (receipts, login, password reset) always send.
16How is my data handled, and can I control privacy?
Account → Consent controls memory and chat history (both off by default). Account → Compliance lets you choose the region your data and AI run in (e.g. EU routing). User-initiated deletes are permanent.
17Where are the Terms, Privacy and Cookie policies?
You'll find the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy on cioaim.com. The AI Disclosure is also available in-app under the Help menu.
18Does CIOAIM have a blog?
Yes — the Leadership Blog covers leadership and professional-development topics for IT leaders. In-app, your coaches also curate Knowledge, Advice, Books, Videos and Podcasts.
19How do I open a support ticket?
Go to Account → Support to open a ticket, track its status and reply to us right there.
